Key Areas of Collaboration

Through this strategic partnership, we have focused on three critical areas: strengthening institutional capacity for environmental governance, mobilizing green investments, and amplifying youth engagement in climate action. These pillars reflect the comprehensive approach needed to achieve sustainable development in Tanzania.

UNEP's expertise in nature-based solutions, circular economy principles, and climate finance has enriched our planning process immeasurably. The upcoming summit will feature dedicated sessions on renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and blue economy initiatives—all informed by UNEP's global best practices.

The Tanzania Green Summit serves as a pivotal platform for dialogue, innovation, and collaboration among government institutions, the private sector, civil society organizations, and international partners. Together, we aim to forge actionable solutions that address the pressing environmental challenges we face, while also harnessing the opportunities inherent in a green economy.
